Recently, two Learned Judges of our Supreme Court had expressed anguish about the sorry state of affairs in Indian Society and apparently asked the Executive Branch to explain why it is so. I am not privy to what,if any, was the responses from the Chief Secretaries,but what ever it is, I intuitively feel that it will not reveal much as, apart from lack of knowledge about how the Universe, and its subset i.e Society works, they themselves are a part of the problem which I am sure they will not admit!
The problem is that more than 90% of people are caged in a wrong paradigm for the last two thousand years or so, the tenets of which can be briefly stated as below:
1)the basic mindset is that we are separate individual beings in a hostile and difficult to survive World
2) a basic insecurity arising from constant threat perceptions from others to our Image/Esteem,our livelihood,life and property, family etc giving rise to basic dangerous emotions of Tension,Fear,Anger, Injustice etc
3) in a desperate attempt to find Happiness,those who can, run after more and more Wealth,Power and Control over others
The results are there for everyone to see-distrust between family members and hostility to parents, anger and revolts in society, local and global conflicts, wars etc all due to the collective ego-driven consciousness in almost in every part of the globe.
The solution to these issues were discovered more than 100 years ago which I shall write about in my next Post
